Global Rise Of SolarBuddy For Energy Poverty With Cievents

For those living in deprivation of energy, an Australian-based charity, SolarBuddy has partnered up with Cievents to create a worldwide incentive to combat the rising issue. In hopes to teach children about energy poverty, renewable energy, and global citizenship, to also increase other potential partnerships. According to statistics, estimatedly 18% of the world’s population are unable to benefit from electricity which means 1.4 billion people are severely impacted in the categories of education, health, economy, and the environment.

SolarBuddy energy lights help to combat the concerning problem so that it can turn into a sustainable solution. This will lead to decreasing burning of toxic kerosene, harmful campfires, and costly battery-powered torches. With the entire aim to help communities that are in need to have light again, cievents Global General Manager, Natalie Simmons has said that it has been positive on the team. As more and more companies include themselves in CSR programs, their current goal is to build 10,000 lights before next year 30th June 2019.
