The Swimming Club at The Kuala Lumpur Journal Hotel has officially opened Located at the 11th floor on the rooftop, it provides for a unique atmosphere to get sun-kissed and unwind with friends whilst sipping on cocktails with a local twist right in the middle of the city.

The design of the newly revamped pool bar is entirely independent and is inspired by a tropical Mid-Century look with a retro Malaysian touch. It is as if Palm Springs, in Penang Island and Wes Anderson had a baby! With an array of striking and splashing colors, eye-catching details and motifs,
it sets itself apart as a unique pool bar from other rooftop venues in Kuala Lumpur.

While guests are either just chilling or splashing away at the saltwater infinity pool, they are provided with an enticing bar menu comprising of a variety of drinks to keep them   refreshed. Signature cocktails with a local twist such as Assam Boi Mojito, Kaffir Lime Margarita and Rooftop Cucumber Lemonade lead an extensive bar menu of different beer brands, boutique wines, spirits, non-alcoholic beverages and healthy juices. For those who are hungry after all that splashing in the pool, they may indulge in the signature Journal Burger, Poolside Katsu Bun or Classic Caeser Salad.


The Swimming Club is open daily from 12pm to midnight. Whether it’s work happy hours, a romantic date and drinks with sunset views, or Saturday nights out with the gang, The Swimming Club is the perfect destination for a special evening with friends.
