Calling all chocolate lovers out there, this is not a drill. A weekend afternoon tea made entirely of chocolate is here and it's as choco-licious as you'd imagine. 

In the month of April, THIRTY8 at Grand Hyatt KL has prepared a cocoa-rich weekend afternoon tea buffet like never before. There will be an array of chocolate inspired desserts and savories prepared by Executive Chef Rolf Knecht and his team, all ready to get you High On Sugar. In this buffet, they will be using chocolates sourced from around the world including Malaysia, Belgium and of course the executive chef's home country, Switzerland. 

As soon as you enter, you'll immediately be greeted with the rich cocoa aroma in the room from a variety of chocolate desserts on display. Also presented is an  interactive live station where chef in attendance will explain on the history, revolution of chocolate and origins of cocoa beans while you enlighten your palate with the different flavours of local and imported chocolates. Aside from that, the "In the glass" station features traditional chocolate mousse, burnt traditional creme brulee, burnt Pahang chocolate creme brulee, tropical fruit trifle, Gula Melaka mousse and compressed watermelon salad. 

The Guilt-Free Corner is perfect for those that are on diet but yet still want to have chocolates. It offers an arsenal of healthy options that are low in calories and high in nutritional value featuring Swiss white chocolate praline with frozen passionfruit, Belgium chocolate raspberry gateau, sugar-free chocolate mousse, gluten, dairy and sugar-free chocolate cake and Bon bon jelly for a guilt-free indulgence. 

The chocolate buffet also comes with made to order savouries which includes white chocolate baba ghannouj, guilt-free shake salad with salted chocolate nibs and cocoa espresso Black Angus beef meatballs. With 40 chocolate inspired recipes, it's basically heaven on earth ! Check out the InstaVideo.
