This year, Grand Hyatt KL captures the spirit of Chinese New Year reunion dinner with a grand feast of prosperity along with stunning 360-degree view of Kuala Lumpur skyline view as the backdrop at THIRTY8. You can choose from the a la carte menu or indulge in a 6-course or 8-course gastronomic journey featuring Prosperity Abalone Treasure Pot with 8-head abalone, Szechuan style steamed grouper, Lotus leaf glutinous rice, Braised dried scallop broth, Chinese New year glutinous rice cake, Pandan bird's nest drink and also crispy fish skin Yee Sang to toss to great fortune for the year ahead ! From January 2 to February 8, 2020, Yun House's Chef Jimmy Wong and his team will prepare iconic festive menus that features some of his personal favorite dishes drawing from his treasure trove of family recipes . The Chinese New Year menu includes nuanced flavours of specialties such as braised money bags filled with ten head abalone, fragrant roasted duck with osmanthus flower, and double boiled superior bird's nest and red dates. Also Yee Sang enthusiasts are in for treat with salmon belly, tuna toro, Australian lobster and other prized ingredients on the menu. Red Chinese Cuisine at Pullman Hotels and Residences KLCC
To celebrate the Year of Rat, Pullman KLCC has brought forward a pageantry of culinary delights at their Red Chinese Cuisine and Sedap Restaurant from 2 January to 8 February 2020. The Chinese New year set menus includes a 7 course and 9 course that features delicacies such as Autralian wagyu beef and edible gold yee sang, double-boiled fish maw soup with mushrooms, dried scallops and rock melons, a prosperity abalone treasure pot, steamed live marble goby in superior soy sauce, Hong Kong-styled claypot waxed meat rice and steamed nian gao. As for Yee Sang, Red Chinese Cuisine delivers colorful vegetable salad yee with variety of toppings including Australian wagyu beef, sea urchins, abalone, soft shell crabs, salmon, jellyfish, whitebait, tempura or even edible gold sheets. All Chinese New Year set menus are available for lunch and dinner, priced @RM2099+, RM2388 and RM2888 per table of 10 persons, while Yee Sang is ranging from @RM98+ to RM288+ per dish @PullmanKLCC.

The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur is celebrating the tradition of Chinese New Year with treasured recipes from Chef De Cuisine, Cheong Boon Fei with handmade "Jiao Zhi" dumplings, braised bird's nest soup with crab meat, bamboo pith & egg white, pan-seared radish cake, crispy prawn with seaweek crumbs and much more. Set menus are priced @RM368+ to RM468+ per person with Yee Sang while a la carte Yee Sang is priced @RM106+ to RM468+ per portion @TheStRegisKL.

Indulge dinner in a contemporary way at ATAS, as they present a special 8-course degustation menu, specially created by Executive Chef Tyson Gee. The Chinese New Year menu will start off with ATAS's signature Yee Sang featuring local ingredients such as pucuk paku, betel leaf, and sweet plum tamarind dressing, then a contemporary takes on traditional dishes such as Ten Day Whiskey Dry Aged Duck Breast, Typhoon Shelter Style Tiger Prawns with Salted Egg Sauce, and Frozen Mango Parfait with Evaporated Milk Ice Cream.
