UNIQLO x Marimekko Limited Edition Capsule Collection

UNIQLO's limited edition capsule collection in collaboration with Marimekko brings out vibes of summer with fun and Joyful pieces, inspired by the Nordic midsummer traditions and the sun's invigorating warmth of this season. 


Bringing together signature UNIQLO simplicity and Marimekko's playful prints from four designers in Marimekko's archive, which includes, Fujiwo Ishimoto who created 400 patterns for Marimekko from 1974 to 2006, that features his Seitseman kukka (seven flowers) design, Talkoot (work party)floral design and Pikkulempi (little love) patterns. Annika Rimala's Aitanovi (cottage door) and Aita (fence) prints. Maija Isola's Taivaankukat (sky flowers) print, and lastly Maija Louekari's Nonparelli (sprinkles) print. 

You can expect to see these prints on a wide range of denims, dresses and accessories, made for you to mix and match for a perfect summer day out. The relaxing Denim V-Neck  Blouse for women pairs well with a Denim Long Skirt with the same pattern, while girls' sleeveless dresses also comes with the same pattern, for a mother and daughter combo. Aside from that you can complete the look with colorful accessories such as a wide-brimmed hat, shoulder bag and espadrille sandals that add a playful touch to the denim styling.
